So there you have it. A bunch of fiction, mainly chick lit, and then the book that I just can’t finish (Blonde Like Me). I’m hoping to get through both of the books I am currently reading by Friday so next weekend I can start on one of the three I have up next. I like reading one book at a time so it might be difficult to get there but we’ll see.

Another Monday has come and I am not quite ready for it.  In fact, I can’t believe we are halfway through this Monday.  It is flying by but that is a good thing.  I’m sure the next 6.5 hours I have to be here at work though will start dragging out.  I have a book to look forward to though so it is all good.  I can’t wait to finish it and start a new one.

Another Monday is here and I’m not ready for it!  I had an extremely lazy weekend – didn’t even make it to the gym and didn’t cook a single meal.  I did however finish reading my last book of the week bringing my total completed up to 3! I have about 5 book reviews I need to get to work on. I’m hoping to get some done tonight but as I’m making Polish Royal Mazurek (Mazurek Krolewski) and I’ve never made it before I might not get to blogging till tomorrow. Wish me luck on the Royal Mazurek, it is beautiful but looks a tad hard to do.

I had a fabulous reading weekend. I read 2 books from start to finish and they were fantastic. I am hoping for another good book week this week with the extra days off thanks to the Thanksgiving holiday. I have Love Walked in and That Extra Half Inch on hold at the library so I think I’m going to run over after work and try to pick them up before they give them to someone else. I might have to put them ahead of Bergdorf Blondes depending on when I have to get them checked back in.

I have had 2 really good weeks of reading. I have been able to clear a few books off of my reading list and discovered a couple of new ones. I have a couple of Plum books which are ready for pick up at the library so I think I’ll be starting that series fairly soon. Whew! That is a lot of reading that I have planned to get done in the next couple of weeks. I am up for the challenge though and can’t wait until the Christmas holidays officially start and I can read all day as long as I want!
