One of the things I am finding that I like on other blogs is the use of photos in blog posts to supplement the post or to draw attention to the post. Often times, I don’t know where to begin looking for the perfect photo and when I do find that perfect photo on Google I begin to worry about copyrighted images and wondering if I must seek permission to use the photo in one of my posts.

Blog Pictures | acobox.comToday, I found Acobox.com which is a photo hosting site for bloggers and photographers. This site allows bloggers to find photos to use on their blog without worrying about hosting the photo on either their personal server or through the usage of another program like photobucket or shutterfly. The photos are available without needing to worry about copyright as well. Photographers get a great outlet to share photos they have taken and to garner a following and potential buyers.

The site is really easy to use once you complete your free registration. You can sign in and start searching for blog pictures. Once you find a picture you like you can choose the alignment and then the sizing. Once that is done you just click on a box and the code is generated for you and you just need to paste that code into your blog post. Talk about easy! If you want to start using photos definitely head over to Acobox.com.

I am so excited. I developed a few pictures from my Disney Photopass session at the Grand Floridian from our last Disney vacation and the pictures turned out just fabulous. I have been going back and forth lately on whether or not I want to send out holiday cards due to the cost involved – buying cards and then postage costs. But after seeing my photos printed, I really want to make Christmas Photo Cards to send to my friends and family. I found a really fun modern design on Vista Print that included lots of red shades and ornament shapes that really blended with the black shirts we wore in our photos as well as the very clean surroundings which were mainly green grass and white paint. The best part is right now Vista Print is running a sale on Christmas Photo Cards right now – buy 10 cards for $2.99 or 20 cards for $5.99. Complementary plain white envelopes are included in the same number amounts as the cards you buy but you can always upgrade to an envelope that matches the theme of your card. I just did a test run since I am at work and I am very happy so far with what I have been able to develop on their site in under 5 minutes. When I get home tonight, I plan on choosing the final picture to use as well as the background I like. If Christmas Photo cards are not your thing, you can also design custom ink pens, note pads, or magnets using various themes on their website or even using your own photo. With Vista Print the possibilities are endless and the price is just right!

Mike and I just took a ton of photos on our vacation and I was thinking what a great way to share them with our friends and family but through making photo Christmas cards. While in high school and college, I use to love sending out holiday cards to my friends and family. I think it was because I enjoyed receiving mail myself and wanted to encourage others to send me some mail. Along the way though, I started to send less and less cards, and last year I didn’t send any because I could not find a card I liked and wanted to send out.

Now remembering this, I have decided that I will pick a few out from my vacation photos and use those to create my own photo Christmas cards over at Vista Print! I really liked this festive design and it will fit 3 of my photos on the front of the card!

Plus there is nothing like perfect timing. Right now Vista Print is offering 10 free Christmas cards with your order by using the following code: XmasFree. I love to find deals and 10 free cards is quite the deal to me! If you haven’t tried Vista Print before this is your perfect opportunity to do so. I have been impressed with their speedy service, high quality, and great prices so I hope you are as well.
