Oh how I hope that I can pop back on here this afternoon/evening and jump for joy in regards to work busy season ending with the filing of my client’s 10-K. As we were leaving late last night, it seemed that there might be some doubt as to whether or not we would be filing today – not from my side of course. It wasn’t what I wanted to hear. I mean I have my extended weekend already planned with things I want to do like go see Confessions of a Shopaholic, visit the Houston library and become a member, hit the gym, blog a little since I haven’t had much blogging time in the past week, and catch up on some of my favorite tv shows.
Speaking of shows, Mike and I were catching up on How I Met Your Mother – Season 3 (last year) over the weekend. We really missed some good episodes last year. The one we had left off on was the one where the gang were all sitting in the bar talking about how they all met one another. This conversation was spurred by Ted’s date telling a made up date on how she and Ted met at a cooking class not online playing World of Warcraft. The episode ended with a recap on how she asked Ted out during the game and then they met at a coffee shop. I will admit I am not too familiar with the game but from the short clip on HIMYM it seemed like a fairly addictive game like I hear. My initial thoughts was that it was a cooler version of The Sims because you can interact with others but then I found that there is a site dedicated to wow account sales where people spend time making this awesome character with awesome traits and then sell it off. The price of the account/character of course depends on how awesome of a character you want and how many levels you want to jump in the game. I didn’t realize there was a market in character accounts but I can see the draw if you have been stuck at a level or in a battle and can’t get past it or if you just want to have a few characters going. I’m always looking for new games and hobbies so I think I might check into this WoW thing a bit more.
