One thing being a member of a sorority taught me in those 3 years was that you should have a t-shirt to remember every occasion by. Don’t believe me? You should see the number of shirts I have in my plastic storage container just waiting to be made into a quilt. I could probably have a nice king sized one made from all of the shirts.
In any case, I was over on Vista Print today looking at the save a date post cards I am ordering for the wedding. I went off on a little tangent though and browsed myself over to the t shirt section and saw that you can make custom t-shirts for any occasion including weddings! Oh yes! I can see it now. The official Michael and Catherine wedding t-shirts just like the old sorority days! You start with a plain white tshirt and then you add on the wording that you like such as names, event, date, or a cute saying. It really is just up to you and what you think you would like. I don’t think I would order everyone a shirt like this but the good thing is that Vista Print doesn’t have a minimum order quantity so if I just wanted one shirt to wear on the cruise ship I could order just my one and be happy the whole time.
Another t-shirt idea that a friend of mine did was uploading graphics to the Vista Print site and making family t-shirts for their Disney vacation. The shirts were adorable and were very unique in the sea of Disney mass produced clothing. If you’ve ever been to Disney you know exactly what I’m talking about. If you haven’t, you might want to look into making some cute t-shirts at Vista Print so you can stand out in the crowd but still be Disney themed. These are just two ideas on what you can do with custom t-shirts but the possibilities are endless.

Can you think of a better way to celebrate 2009 than with a contest to win a free trip to either Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or the Disneyland Resort in California? I know I can’t! Disney is offering just that. A free trip for four people to travel to one of these Disney parks to meet with Tinkerbell and her four Fairy Friends. The prize package includes 4 park hopper tickets, a special meet and greet with Tink and the Fairies in Pixie Hollow, round-trip airfare for 4, and hotel accommodations at the Disney Resort.
Now the important stuff: How to Enter. All you have to do is head over to Disney’s Fairy website, PixieHollow.com, and sign in with your Disney.com account name and password and then enter the name of your favorite Disney Fairy before Midnight on January 31, 2009. It is that simple. While you are there you can learn more about the new meet and greet at the Disney Parks in Pixie Hollow and play some fun games with your favorite fairies. Good luck and I hope that if I can’t win then one of my readers will!
