Happy Monday!  It is the 2nd to last Monday of March.  Where is this year going and why is it going so darn fast??  I’m off to a fairly good Monday.  I have a fairly long to-do list but I’m slowly knocking it out.  I’ll add another check to the list with my Manic Monday meme post.  As always, everyone is welcome to participate.  If you participate leave me a comment and I will return the favor by commenting on your blog.  Also make sure to log in at the Manic Monday Blog (you can use the picture above to get there).

Do you screen your phone calls? Totally!  Sometimes I am just not in the mood to talk to anyone so it is best that I screen or you might get responses you weren’t counting on from me.

When was the last time you lost your temper? This weekend.  Wedding planning is driving me crazy and I just want it over with.

When you’re lost, do you ask for directions? If I am truly lost then yes.  If I’m semi-lost but generally know where I need to go and how to get back to where I should be I won’t.  This is mainly so I learn new routes in town.

How often do you change your toothbrush? Every 6 months when I go to the dentist and he gives me a new one for free

What is your favorite item of clothing to shop for? Nothing really.  Everything is such a pain.  I guess if I had to pick one thing it would be shopping  for new underwear since I don’t have to try those on. LOL

Do you use social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)? Which do you use most often? I really don’t use it as much as I use to.  I log into Facebook whenever I receive a notice for a friend request or a new email message.  I can’t remember the last time I logged into Myspace and I need to set up a Twitter account.

Which household chore do you dislike the most? Cleaning the bathroom.  I detest it so much that I only do it once a month and I think that makes it even worse.

What’s the best museum you’ve ever visited? I enjoyed the Smithsonian museums that I visited in high school.  I also really like the Oil and Gas museum here in Houston.  It is very informative.

It’s Star Wars Day today. I’ve never seen any of the Star Wars movies. What “common” movies haven’t you seen? I’ve never seen The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

April 27, 2009 Questions:

What’s the best summer job you ever had? I actually only had 1 summer job growing up.  It lasted from the time I was 16 until 22.  I worked at the local batting cages and it was pretty fun.

Tell me about the worst date you ever went on. That would have to be senior prom.  It was a blind date because my mom wouldn’t let me miss my prom again (I had no qualms with that) so I was set up with a guy I had never met before.  It didn’t turn out too well.

Do you think the age for a driver’s license should be raised (currently 16 here in the U.S.)? No.  I think it is fine.  I think you have to learn at some point and while under adult supervision is probably best.  I think driver’s education should be a requirement as well as having the learner’s permit for 3-6 months before getting a full license.  I actually got my license at 15 and I think I turned out fairly well for a driver.  There is always continuous learning and improvements to be made by everyone.

Seems like it’s another week of better late than never.  The whole eye thing threw me off as I was up and ready to post this morning but with it bugging me and my appointment not being till 1pm I thought the easiest way to deal with it would be to go back to bed until time to go to the doctor.  Then it was cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, and then battling the eye drops.  So here I am finally ready to do my Manic Monday Meme post.

How old were you when you learned to tie your shoes?  I don’t remember.  I know it was before I went to Kindergarten as I wanted shoes with laces to wear.

Have you ever snooped in somebody else’s medicine cabinet? No.  I have never known anyone to have a medicine cabinet that they actually use to keep medicine in.  I know in my family we use the kitchen cabinet to keep our medicines in to remember to take when we eat.

Who do you think you are? This is an odd question when you first read it.  I actually had to peak at what others said to figure out what I wanted to say.  I tend to cheat like that

I guess I could say I’m a million different things but when it comes down to it I’m just a 27 year old girl who enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Happy June everyone! I can’t believe we are almost halfway through 2009. Wow does time fly. I had a pretty great weekend that was fun and tiring but I wouldn’t trade it for extra sleep. So here we are ready for another Manic Monday blog post. As always, we are asked 3-4 questions and just have to answer them and share with others. Imagine you’re packing a picnic lunch. What would be in your basket? Oooh Oooh!  We did the picnic thing yesterday.  In our basket we had ham and cheese sandwiches, grapes, a peach, pretzels, and water bottles.

If your life were a weather vane, which direction would it be pointing right now? Whipping through the wind in a West-East fashion.  Trying to get from the start to finish on a few projects both professionally and personally and I keep getting thrown back with them.

What’s something that people do in traffic that really annoys you? Cut in front of me with little to no room.  Oh and then going slow.  Grr.
