I’m trying out a Monday meme this week. I love doing these memes because they allow me to find new blogs and allow people to find my blog. Manic Monday is a meme that is done every Monday of course and usually asks a few questions that you are to answer in your own post. This meme is hosted on an appropriately named blog Manic Monday Meme.

This week’s questions:

What is your favorite candy? I love 3 Musketeer Bars and Cadbury Dairy Milk – Fruit and Nut bars from England.

Name one thing that you’d want to receive as a gift for Valentine’s day.  Chocolate.  I never ask for this but I have a craving.

Can we truly love someone who loves another? I don’t think so.  I think you will always have doubt and anguish over it.  I think to be healthy you need to let go and move on.

Of all your favorite foods, which one would you find the most difficult to give up for the rest of your life? Toughie.  A few years ago I would have told you french fries but I have weaned myself off of those.  Current addiction is chips and salsa.  It would be rough to give those up.  And as always, ice cold beer.

Which month of the year do you thing best describes your personality? May.  May is the beginning of summer and things are still comfortable around Houston – not too hot and not too cool.  It is fairly laid back and bright colors are starting to be acceptable.

If you could be a contestant on any game show, past or present, which show would you pick? Oh I don’t remember the name but it is the game where they always shouted out No Whammies!  That was always fun to watch and it doesn’t take that much brain power to go play and win.

I am so glad busy season is pretty much done.  I felt like I abandoned my blog last week as I was so busy at work I didn’t get to participate in any of my weekly memes and just put up a few sporadic posts mainly about my countdown to filing.  My weekend was nice and relaxing so I am ready to start this week off with my Manic Monday Meme post.  So here we go!

It’s going to be super-easy this week!

If I was a car, I’d be: A Pontiac Solstice.  It is just such a fun car!

If I was a drink, I’d be: An ice cold beer.  Preferably a nice amber or brown ale.

If I was emotion, I’d be: Relieved as my main deadline is over and everything went well I think.

Happy Monday night everyone!  Work got a little busy this afternoon and before I knew it, it was time to go home.  This is shaping up to be a busy but exciting week.  The exciting part is due to this being Mike’s last week working in Beaumont five days a week.    So let’s get on with some more fun this Monday.  Same rules as last week. What would you do with an extra hour each day? I would spend another half hour at the gym and then take a 30 minute bubble bath after that.

Do you wear a watch? If so, tell us about it. If not, how do you keep track of time? Nope.  I do not wear a watch.  Since I sit at a desk all day I use my laptop clock.  When I am running errands I just check my radio in the car or my cell phone.

If it was possible, would you want to know how many days you had left to live? The thought of death really freaks me out so the less I know the better off I am. So no I would not want to know how many days I had left to live if given that option.

Happy Monday everyone! I can’t believe it is lunchtime already. Where has the day gone? I have a pretty busy day at work ahead of me and hopefully a busy night too with going to the gym and getting paper work together to resolve this traffic violation tomorrow. I am hoping to get a little laundry done so I can wear my khaki pants to work tomorrow (they have been in the dirty clothes pile for 2 weeks!) so we’ll see how it all shapes up. Are you a saver or spender? Lately I feel like all I have been doing is spending.  I have my 401(k) contributions going automatically each pay period but not much going into my actual savings account.  I hope to change that this month.

Do you prefer to walk around barefoot in your home? Socks? Shoes? Barefoot.  Shoes track around dirt and socks make my feet feel constrained

Do you talk to yourself? Sometimes I do.  Depends on what I’m doing like cleaning or working from home I might.
