When I first came across this challenge I really didn’t think that I would be able to participate. I mean how many books would really be of interest to me. Then I started reading the list and began noticing books that I had heard about or had on my TBR list. I never understood the whole banned/challenged books fight. It feels like we are trying to make a vacuum where everything is peachy keen and nothing bad happens, nothing bad happened in the past, and certain words don’t exist. To each their own I guess. I just would have hated to have my reading restricted in high school since there were at least 10 books on these lists I read back then. So now I want to add 12 more to my read books list.
This challenge is being hosted by The Ecletic Bookshelf.
We all know that there is a whole week devoted to Banned and Challenged books. But why stop at a week?! Why not a whole YEAR?!
