I’m not what you would call a hardcore electronics fan. I like new electronics and I like to have things that are current as far as technology goes but I am more of a wait and see if it catches on person rather than a jump on it first thing person.
So after having my desktop for 6 years now, I really think it is time to upgrade. I love having a laptop (through work) as I can sit anywhere in my apartment with it. I love not being tied to a specific desk thanks to a large monitor and CPU. The only thing I don’t know is whether I want to get a laptop or a netbook. Netbooks are really popular right now and they are much cheaper than a laptop. I don’t know if I am going to like the size of the screen and the fact that there is no DVD player built into the netbook. I am so use to my work laptop with its 15 inch screen and built in DVD drive that it might be hard to trade down and get a netbook.
What do you have and do you like it?

I’m thinking of getting a netbook as well, but since I’ve already owned a notebook and a desktop PC, I’ll pass.

Is that the only thing that is holding you back? That you already have the desktop and laptop or is there something else too?
