Beth Fish Reads is hosting a Sookie Stackhouse Challenge. I love a challenge, I love series, and I love Vampires, so this should be a challenge right up my alley. Unfortunately, the challenge started in June 2009 and ends in June 2010 so I might not finish it by then but I am hoping to get a good start on the series and finish it in 2010. Maybe if I like the books, I’ll look into the HBO series True Blood which is loosely based from this book series.

Whew! I am finally caught up on the series. I am really enjoying it after not quite being sure. I am looking forward to the next book coming out in May 2010!

I gave my set of books to one of my friends a couple of weeks ago and she read all 9 in 10 days! They are really a quick read.

I read all 9 of the Sookie Stackhouse books in about a week – they are quick, entertaining reads. I thought about participating in a “series” book challenge but I’ve already got a big reading list ready to go and I think last year was the “year of the series” for me – I read Twilight, Harry Pottery, Lord of the Rings, Eragon, Sookie Stackhouse and the Outlander series. I haven’t found any more series that I really am dying to read (yet). lol Good luck!!
