The Blonde Diaries

Just when I thought I was done with challenges for 2010, I found another whole slew of them which means I HAVE TO sign up!  This book challenge is hosted over on the Royal Reviews blog and the point is to help you finish up series that you have put off or fallen behind on.  Here are the official guidelines of the challenge:

1. Anyone can join. You don’t need a blog to participate.
–Non-Bloggers: Include your information in the comment section.

2. There are four levels:

– Curious – Finish 2 series.

– Fascinated – Finish 3 series.

– Addicted – Finish 5 series.

– Obsessed – Finish 10 series.

3. Any genre counts.

4. You can list your books in advance or just put them in a wrap up post. If you list them, feel free to change them as the mood takes you.

5. Challenge begins January 1st thru December, 2010.

I’m joining this challenge to finish 2 series that I have started: The Princess Diaries and Harry Potter (I stopped at book 6 4 years ago). I think a few more books on various reading lists and TBR lists are also part of series so I’ll probably add some series to finish off as the year goes by. I really really need to finish Harry Potter so that will be a top priority this year. I need to know how it all ends.

Update: I finished the Princess Diaries series just the last week (May 16th ish)

Update 2: Stephanie Plum, Sookie Stackhouse, and Queen Betsy/Undead Series are finished! (June/July 2010)

Update 3: December 28, 2010 Well I didn’t knock Harry Potter off my list and that is because I just need to start over as it has been 6 years since I started the series and that is way too long to try and remember things that happened in the first 5 books. So 2011 will be the year I finish the Harry Potter series from start to finish.
