I have had 2 really good weeks of reading. I have been able to clear a few books off of my reading list and discovered a couple of new ones. I have a couple of Plum books which are ready for pick up at the library so I think I’ll be starting that series fairly soon. Whew! That is a lot of reading that I have planned to get done in the next couple of weeks. I am up for the challenge though and can’t wait until the Christmas holidays officially start and I can read all day as long as I want!

I finished The Gift by Cecelia Ahern today and started The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold tonight. Both are a huge departure from all of the vampire books that I have been sucked into lately (no pun intended).
I really enjoyed The Gift. It was a quick read and perfect for the holiday season. It started a little bit slow but picked up after a couple of chapters. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a little reminder about what’s important in life.

Glad to hear a good review on The Gift. I love Cecelia Ahern’s other books and just saw that this book was released. I have yet to purchase it but I might see if my local library has it available for check out.
I’ve seen The Lovely Bones quite a bit on the Teaser Tuesday meme and have been meaning to read it but haven’t made it there yet. I need to put it on my 2010 TBR list.
