That post title seems a little odd I realize now that I’m typing. Of course toothpaste works in cleaning your teeth and keeping your breath minty fresh, but toothpaste does other amazing things. Now I’m not sure if my mom is totally exaggerating this one but she has been “battling” this zit for 3 months (that was the exaggeration part) and had been trying various acne products to get rid of it. Nothing was working not even a trip to the doctor. So she decided to try a trick I had learned at some point in either high school or college. She applied toothpaste, a natural acne treatment, to the zit for a couple of nights and it just dried up and vanished! I haven’t tried the toothpaste trick in a very long time but I do remember using it thoughout my school days to control and rid myself of zits before big events like prom or homecoming. I was glad to hear from my mom that this old trick still works. It is also a great budget saver. Why spend money on tons of medication that doesn’t work when you can just dab a little toothpaste on your forehead while brushing your teeth before going to bed. Last time I looked, toothpaste was much cheaper than some of those zit creams I tried back in the day.
