Happy Friday! Today is a half day at work (yay!) followed by a trip to the gym and chores around the house. I’m hoping if I do the chores now I won’t have to do any the rest of the weekend!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

So my question of the week is: If you could travel to any place in the world, where would it be and why?
I would love to visit Germany during Oktoberfest. I think going to the festival in Germany would be a blast. I also wonder if their brats and sauerkraut taste the same as the way we make them here in the States or if they are totally different. Kind of like wondering if pizza in Italy is like pizza in the States (it is!).

its probably a little touristy but Hawaii I have just always wanted to sit on the beach with a fruity drink and site seeing.

@blueviolet – I wouldn’t mind an Alaskan cruise at some point. My grandparents went and had a blast doing a land and sea tour of Alaska
@Erica – I’ve never been to Hawaii but a few friends have gone there for honeymoons and it does look gorgeous.
@Ave – I would never have thought of Madagascar but I bet the wildlife would be amazing.
@Kimberly – I just came back from a cruise in the Med. I highly recommend it and would love to do it again but I found a few other cruises I want to do next so it will probably wait for another 10 years.

I would love to go to Ireland. The reason being is I love the accents! I have seen pictures and it’s beautiful. I have heard lots of really nice things about Ireland.

@Stacie – Ireland is on my list. I was *thisclose* to going last year and had to cancel. Talk about heartbreaking. I was only going to go for 2 days as a tack on to a trip to visit my dad who is working in England near the Scotland border. Luckily I hadn’t really started planning my trip as it would have been even worse of a heartbreak.
@Deb – Just went to Italy and the food was really good. I didn’t have anything I wouldn’t want to eat again except for the Cuttlefish. I just couldn’t eat a whole plate of that but it wasn’t too bad. The history was good too.

I would like to see Australia and New Zealand. I have had friends visit both and remark on the beaches, the reef, the zoos, and entertainment. Aloha and take care.
