Wow! I have been planning for this weekend for a long time now. Actually, my maid of honor has planned it all but I have been anxiously awaiting this weekend. We aren’t going to do anything wild and crazy – no condoms or male paraphenalia decorations. Instead we are just going on a weekend shopping trip up to the San Marcos outlets. I love the outlets because they are huge and have great stores and deals. I always find the best sales when I am there. I have a short list of places I have to hit up – Bath and Body Works, Crate and Barrel, White House Black Market, and Saks Off 5th Avenue. After our all day shopping trip we are hitting one of the many Mexican restaurants on the river and having dinner. Yay!
As you can see with my plans, bachelorette weekends/parties don’t have to be wild and crazy and can take place just about anywhere. The most popular spot seems to be Las Vegas but I didn’t want to ask anyone to spring for airline tickets but man the deals on Vegas hotels are pretty awesome right now. If we lived within driving distance I certainly would have given Vegas a second chance. From what I understand they have excellent shopping on the Strip and also in outlet malls not too far outside of the city.
I have no regrets though. I am just happy my weekend is finally here and I can meet up with some of my close friends to go shopping. I just hope the trunk is big enough for all of our shopping! LOL

I totally agree with you about batchelorette parties. I had a great time with my girls, having dinner at this really nice restaurant here in Dallas and then to a great show. I loved it
