TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
* Grab your current read.
* Let the book fall open to a random page.
* Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
* You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
* Please avoid spoilers!
I pull it into the dressing room and try it on. The three-way mirror isn’t nearly as bad when you don’t have anyone staring. I can’t loop the buttons, so I pull the neckline closed with my hand. I stare for a time, then I notice flashing red lights.
~p 150, With This Ring, I’m Confused by Kristin Billerbeck
This book is part 3 in a 3 book series following a patent attorney, Ashley Stockingdale, through her quest to find love and a reasonable job. I’ve really enjoyed the series thus far and can’t wait to see what happens in this book. Ashley seems to finally have found the man of her dreams and has an ok job in Sillicon Valley. The hiccup comes in with the wedding that is being planned for her – a Gone With the Wind theme – not exactly what Ashley had in mind. I’m anxious to see how she wiggles out of that one.

Sounds like fun. I like series that have an end. Some of them just go on and on and on and I feel compelled to keep reading even after they are no fun anymore.
Great teaser!

Sounds interesting! I may have to check these out. I’m anxiously waiting my next BOMC2 shipment date though as I want to read the new Stephanie Plum book BAD!

That’s a cute title – I think I would have been horrified with a theme wedding like that – what if the Groom said that frankly he didn’t give a damn instead of I do?! We just did Fall since, you know, we got married in – you guessed it – the Fall. How original :0)

I feel that way too sometimes Stacy. I think trilogies are the best if you are going to have a short series on a character. I am hoping the Shopaholic series is over because I really like Becky but I am getting bored with the books since they are way over the top now.
