The Blonde Diaries

In the summer of 2007 (I know right), a thread on the Sunshine Rewards forum caught my eye.  It was someone asking if anyone had read The Time Traveler’s Wife yet.  I had not read the book but I was just getting back into reading so I thought I’d open the thread and see what this book was all about.   What I found was an intriguing book about the love story of a couple who had to deal with the husband’s time traveling.  The intriguing part was that he had time traveled and met his future wife numerous times starting around age 6 and would come back to visit her often.  As you read you received both of their perspectives on the meetings and what the future would hold for them.  It was a great love story and one that I sobbed through the ending.  It just hit on so many emotions.

I have to admit I am a tad skeptical on the movie.  I just don’t know how they are going to piece it together and if the same emotions will come through the movie that came through the book but I am excited to see how it turns out.  I absolutely love Rachel McAdams and think she is going to do a great job on this movie.  If you haven’t seen the new movie trailer, check it out below and if you haven’t read the book yet, I would highly suggest going to Borders this weekend and grabbing a copy.
