Happy Friday! Today is a lazy day for me as I just have to listen to a webcast at work and then go to a lunch with a small group of coworkers today before I am free to enjoy the weekend. I love lazy days like today. I have a short to-do list for this afternoon – return a few items, gather my dry cleaning, and then write some thank you notes. Maybe I’ll start on dinner before Mike gets back from Dallas. Depends on how lazy I feel like being. I’m still holding out hope he takes me out to watch Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals.
Today’s question on Island Life is -> What’s your favorite thing about Summer?
My favorite part of summer is fun in sun and wearing flip flops all the time! I hate socks and find them constricting so I look forward to the 10/11 months of summer we have here in Houston LOL.
My question for this week: Penguins or Red Wings?
I’m hoping for a Penguin win!

Just that overall feeling of being on “vacation” all summer – even when we have to work!! Love the bright sun early in the mornings and looking outside at all the green grass and trees and the beautiful flowers everywhere!
