Teaser Tuesday – June 9, 2009

Author: The Blonde Diaries  /  Category: Chick Lit
This entry is part 15 of 28 in the series Teaser Tuesdays

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

* Grab your current read.
* Let the book fall open to a random page.
* Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
* You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
* Please avoid spoilers!

Earlier this year, I decided to participate in the Chick Lit Challenge.  One of the books on my list is I Do (But I Don’t). I got the titles mixed up and ordered the sequel and just finished it.  The sequel is hilarious and I can’t wait to get the correct book that is on my Chick List Challenge book because I think it will be hilarious as well.  At the beginning of each chapter, there is a reason to Divorce a Rockstar which sets up the chapter you are about to read.  They were all totally true and really added to the book.  I landed on Chapter 10 today so I picked Reason #10 to share as my teaser.

Reason #10 To Divorce a Rockstar

Because you want to see your husband in person and not just on MTV.

    Is it mean of me to say that was such a Blonde move reading the sequel before the first one? Because I thought that was really funny. Good to know they can be read out of order without a problem. I still laugh when my parents told me they rented Gangs of New York and watched the first disk and were really confused by the story. So then they popped in the second disk and realized they had watched the disks out of order. Major DUH. Great Teaser – sounds like a fun series of books.

    Not at all. I am usually careful about this but the titles are so close I think anyone could make this mistake. LOL
