Happy Friday! Another week done and another weekend here. I have another fun packed weekend starting with the day off from work today and doing wedding related things, returning a few items to the mall (yay money!), a wedding shower tomorrow, and another trip to the park Sunday morning (with the bug spray this time!). I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend as well.
Island Life is asking us to write about: If you could write for any magazine, which one would it be?
I use to say Lucky but then their magazine got old and repetitive and out of my price range. Now I think I’d like to write for Self. I like the beauty, health and fashion aspects of this magazine. It is very well rounded and I get a ton of great tips from them.
My question: Are you heading to the beach this summer?
We are not this year and I am sad. I’m hoping we might be able to possibly hit the beaches in Lido, though I hear they aren’t exactly like the Carribbean. If it doesn’t work out at least we have the pool on the cruise ship.

The Hubs, me and the two kids are heading to Hawaii in 15 DAYS! For two weeks! One of my nephews is getting married there so we figured we may as well make a real vacation out of the trip. Manele Bay ~~ Here we come….

We live only about an hour from Va.Beach, so hubby and I have already been several times. We usually head down there on a Sat. mornings (try to go at least twice a month!) by 8:30 with our coffee, chairs, a yummy packed lunch, the papers, good books, Suduko and plenty of sunscreen! We do rent one of their big umbrellas and we’re set for the day ~ Fabulous!!!

Nope, no beach in our plans but we do have our own pool. We’ve already put in several hrs of serious water time!

I am so not a beach person, which is uncommon in my city of Santa Barbara. Sometimes I go on the sand but definitely not the water!
