The Blonde Diaries

I’ve written a few posts about how much I love traveling to Florida and seeing all of the sights. Mike and I thoroughly enjoy going to Disney World and acting like children with our favorite Disney characters. We are very much looking forward to when we can bring our nephew with us to Disney so he can meet the gang.

There is much more to going to Orlando and Kissimmee besides going to Walt Disney World. In fact, there are other theme parks like Sea World, The Holy Land Experience, and Universal Studios. I have never been to those parks but I really want to visit Universal and Sea World. Sea World has some great rides and attractions that have opened in the past couple of years capped off by the new Manta ride where you ride a roller coaster around aquariums at the park. You are also strapped in on the bottom of a large sting ray so you feel as if you are gliding over everything. Awesome right?

With our huge honeymoon plans, I don’t think Mike and I will be able to make a trip down this year on our own but with a free vacation to Kissimmee I think we could find a way to wiggle out a few more vacation days this year. If you haven’t heard, Kissimmee is giving away a free trip to Kissimmee. There is a weekend getaway for 3 days and 2 nights for two people and then a week-long vacation for four people. The contest drawing is to be held on June 1, 2009 so get over there and sign up. Who wouldn’t/couldn’t use a free vacation especially with everything happening in the economy right now.
