I’ve been reading quite a few news releases on Sea World Orlando in the past couple of years. It seems like Sea World is upgrading and adding new rides to their park to try and compete with the other big names in the area. I have to admit when I do travel to Orlando it is to go to one place only and I never leave. Things might change now with the upgrades to Sea World Orlando.
Have you heard about the newest addition? Manta is going to change the way you think about roller coasters. This is a roller coaster for all ages and combines the fun of seeing sea creatures in aquariums with a thrill ride. You begin by entering the ride and strapping onto the belly of a giant stingray. Once you are secured, you and 32 of your newest friends, start gliding over huge aquariums and are greeted by various sea life ranging from a giant octopus to stingrays to sea dragons. Then before you know it you are on the thrill part of the ride going at speeds that top out over 50 miles per hour.
Right now, Sea World is offering fun quizzes and activities on the official Manta site. If you complete two of these activities you will receive a complimentary photograph from your Manta ride experience. If you complete all six activities you will receive a free pass to the front of the line.
