I feel a tad silly putting in a maintenance request at my apartment complex over my bedroom door especially when it is just Mike and I living here. But every now and then it is nice to be able to close the door and have the door actually stay closed. I’m not sure if it ever completely closed because we never noticed anything until a few months ago when we were trying to close it when we had company over and it wouldn’t “latch” and close. So I’m not sure if it is just a weather thing, a door thing, or possibly the lock on the door. I was looking for tips via google but was just getting places to purchase door hardware online. Not quite what I was looking for. I guess before calling anyone or shelling out money for a new door handle, is there something else I can try? Maybe a good trick or a product I would have around the house to get this door to work right.
