The Blonde Diaries

March is one of my favorite months because it means that busy season is over and I can start thinking about fun things like planning my summer vacation. I have to say that I was never a huge fan of spring break or fall break back in college because I usually just stayed in town but now that I work full time I miss those forced vacations and have taken to actually planning my vacations quite seriously.

I have to say after going on a few vacations where I have done all the planning, I am looking for a fun weekend trip where someone does the planning for me. My friends that I went to Dallas with in January have been tossing around our next girls trip. A few ideas have been Chicago and New York. I’ve never been to New York and so that is the one that I am pushing for us to visit. I found some great New York Sightseeing tours – one is a four day pass that brings you around the city and then shopping at the outlet mall. Another tour is a Sex in the City tour that takes you to all of the hot spots from the show. They both are fairly reasonable and provide guided tours in air conditioned buses so I couldn’t really ask for much more. Has anyone tried to see New York via bus? Was it as fun and easy as it sounds?
