Happy Friday everyone! I am so glad the weekend is here. It has been a long week and I am just ready to relax and spend some time with Mike. No big plans for Valentine’s Day except that I am going to see Legally Blonde the Musical with my mom tomorrow night.
Island Life is asking us to write about: What’s the worst Valentine’s Day gift you’ve ever gotten?
I have to say that I have been fairly lucky and haven’t received a bad gift yet. Emphasis on the yet piece as I have a long life left and I’m sure there will be one year that Mike forgets or gives me something less than desirable like a toaster or something.
So now it is my turn. I want to ask you all, what kind of candy are you hoping to receive for Valentine’s Day? I wouldn’t mind some Cadbury Dairy Milk fruit and nut bars. I am just hooked on those and they have to be imported from England. Go figure that I would like something not so common like that.

Not really expecting any although I do have some skittles/starburst left over from daughter’s v-day party @ school. Does that count?

Not expecting any candy. I am not a chocolate person and hubby knows it. Plus we do not really give gifts anymore.

My favorite candy is Hershey’s Hugs, but I probably won’t get any. LOL I did get a HUGE chocolate apple today from one of my students.

I grocery shopped yesterday and the deli had chocolate covered strawberries. I picked one up and it yummy!

I absolutely LOVE Lindt chocolate truffles, and my husband knows this because it has been beaten into his brain over the years! So he got me a huuuuuge bag, and I ate about five today. Good think I’m pregnant! hehe
