January flew by and now it is February 1st. If you are being caught by surprise with how quickly 2009 is flying by like I am then use this post as a heads up. Valentine’s day is just around the corner so you need to start thinking about what to give your loved one that shows you care and thought about them. No matter how many times Mike and I say we want to “skip” a holiday or gift occassion I can tell you that we never do and trying to throw together a last minute, thoughtful gift is just not fun.
This year, I am being proactive and looking now. I have narrowed down my gift to a few cds for his iPod and a watch he can take with him when he starts traveling back and forth to Beaumont again this month. I found some casio watches which had built in alarm clocks and timers for when he is trying to exercise and keep track of his time. He has been having issues with his cell phone so he needs a back up alarm clock to help him get up and go to work on time. I really liked the watch on the right of this paragraph because it was silver and fairly stylish but also because the red background just fit so well with the gift occasion. If you need a gift for the guy in your life, consider a watch like this one.
