Think Thin Thursday – January 22, 2009

I have missed the past few weeks of Think Thin Thursday.  I decided that maybe if I wrote it Wednesday night that I might have a chance participating this week.  I don’t know why Thursdays are so difficult for me to get online but they have gotten bad recently.

So I can’t remember what I weighed in last but I started using my Wii Fit and the scale on the board matches up with my bathroom scale so I am going to start using it as my official scale as it goes down to the tenth point.  So tonight when I hopped on the Wii I weighed in at 153.4.  Not too shabby.  I made it to the gym on Saturday and Sunday for one hour on the eliptical machine and then during the week this week I have jumped on the Wii Fit for 30 minutes each day.  I have to say that thing is really giving me a work out and I am excited as it is easy to do in my living room each day.

So for this upcoming week I am going to have 2 goals: Workout for 30 minutes everyday – either at the gym or on the Fit and Count my Weight Watcher points more carefully.  I just started journaling again on Monday and it has really helped me keep track of what I’m eating and making sure I am eating the right things.  I managed to stay within my points range Monday and Wednesday which is a great start.  I just have to work on the eating out but that will come with time.

Also, our task for this week is to post a breakfast menu or item to give everyone a new idea for breakfast foods since that is the easiest meal to get into a rut and it is the most important meal of the day.  I have a few that I rotate between and all involve fruit and fiber:

  • Vitalicious Vitatops in any chocolate flavor and served with a half cup of berries
  • Banana flavored Oatmeal with a diced banana
  • 1 cup Kashi Go Lean Crunch with a half cup of berries

    Journaling always helps me stay on track. I find when I stop writing things down, it’s easier to slip in a “forgotten” snack. LOL!
