The Blonde Diaries

Ever since Mike proposed last May, I have been worried about my teeth. Growing up I loved any drink that was colored – orange soda, red Kool Aid, Gatorade, Rootbeer – you get the picture. And then I refused to let up as an adult after I very well knew that drinks stained your teeth. I layed off the soda and added in Mocha Frappuccino lights from Starbucks and dark beer. So after looking at some of the pictures I had developed from Mike and I’s Disney trip last September I am a little worried about my wedding pictures. I mean wedding pictures really do last a lifetime and are photos everyone wants to look at over and over. I really really do not want discolored teeth in my photos.

So in the past few months, I have tried the usual: whitening tooth paste and whitening strips and trays. So far: no real change except a lot of products building up in my cabinets and more money being thrown down the drain. I did speak with my dentist recently about professional whitening but I am not sure if it will fit into the wedding budget. We still have a DJ and limo to book and bridal accessories (veil, jewelry, makeup) so we might be cutting things close budget wise. So I have turned to my best friend google to research some other alternatives to see what will work and pricing. I found quite a few reviews online for a product called celebrity sexy white teeth whitening system. It is basically the whitening product that celebrities use to give them that white smile without costing a fortune since they have to ensure their teeth are white at all times. The before and after pictures I found show teeth that were discolored like mine actually turning to a pearly shade of white so it seems as if this product really works and it doesn’t cost a complete fortune either. Based on the reviews and photos I’ve found I think I’m going to give this product a try before I break down and go the professional (ie expensive) route. I think it will work and save me a few pennies.
