The book ("Doomed Queens: Royal Women who Met Band Ends, From Cleopatra to Princess Di") from my Teaser Tuesdays this week not surprisingly includes Marie Antoinette...I wonder if the Scarlet Pimpernel had anything to do with her. Interesting teaser. Valeries last blog post..Happy Blogiversary!

Welcome to Teaser Tuesdays! “The Scarlet Pimpernel” is one of those books I keep thinking I must read one day and the prose style looks good so I’ll be interested to know what you make of it. I’m doing Casual Classics too but my books are all Virago Modern Classics.
