The Blonde Diaries

Brrr it is going to be quite cold Thursday morning when I am outside saying my farewells at the funeral. The last check on weather.com indicated temperatures with a high of 27 and lots of snow and wind. I didn’t look at the wind chill factor. I am sure it will make things seem much colder than they actually are. So with that said, this southern girl is having quite the problem packing for winter conditions. I mean it was 80 degrees here last weekend. I just do not have clothing for cold temperatures.

I asked a fellow blogger to help me out this morning and she did mention to pick up some tights and cuddle duds from Target. I’m just not sure that will be enough for layering so I think I am going to borrow a few of Mike’s long sleeve workout shirts and pick up some Leggings while I am out after work tonight to wear under my clothing. I love the leggings by Hue so I think I will just invest in some cute ones rather than pick up some cheapies. I’m bound to need them again sometime here in Texas right? I might get some really cozy, thick socks to wear as well. I just know my shoes are not snow proof and I will be running through pairs of socks rather quickly to stay dry. I love my Hue socks so I think I’ll just pick up a few more “fun” pairs of cozy, thick socks while I am out. What else am I missing Northerners?
