Winter has finally made it to Texas. We are sitting at 36 degrees right now and are experiencing a wintery-mix of precipitation, meaning the snow flakes fall and melt upon hitting the warm ground. It is very cold, windy, and just dreary outside today and quite frankly I am freezing right now.
Hello People! When I moved to Houston I moved South from my original hometown not North specifically to avoid things like snow and wintery-mixes. I know people get excited and happy down here when it gets like this but I prefer my 70 degrees in December. I like flip flops and sitting outside with a nice breeze, man-made or other, and a margarita in my hands. I don’t like bundling up in sweaters and boots both inside and outside. I’ll let everyone have their one day this year to get excited over snow if it heats up to 60 and then 70 this weekend like our weatherman is promising. Snow is just not my thing. LOL!
