Did you go see Twilight this weekend?

This entry is part 16 of 25 in the series Chick Lit Reviews

I have not read Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight yet so I was not a part of the crowds that flocked to see the movie adaptation of the movie. I have started reading the headlines and articles that follow the headlines and have had my interest peaked by the reviews and just seeing how well the movie did in the theaters opening weekend. Right now, I am trying to decide which I want to do first: read the book or see the movie. My coworker is a huge fan of the book series and while she liked the movie she was a tad disappointed in the movie so she recommended the movie first, then the book. I can’t decide what to do. I went to Barnes and Nobles Sunday and picked up the book because I am out of books to read at home so I could read the book next week then see the movie. But I don’t want to be disappointed. Decisions, Decisions.

Did you see the movie? Have you read the book? Which one did you like better and which order would you use to tackle Twilight?

I read the entire series in a week! I was addicted by chapter 3 of Twilight. I saw the midnight showing of Twilight and although I enjoyed it, I was disappointed too. You can read my review on my blog. Read the book first! I’m afraid if you saw the movie you wouldn’t want to pick up the book…just my humble opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll have to pop over and read your review on Twilight. I have a feeling reading the book first is the wise thing to do.

I’ve seen the movie but wasn’t really amazed about it, the plot was very simple, a love story between a vampire and a human..nothing else. I don’t know about what’s in the book as I haven’t read it yet.
