And still no internet connection at home. Well I take that back, there is a connection it just isn’t working! Oh the solid green light on my DSL modem is such a tease to me. I can see it and I get hopeful but once I try and register my modem and get to surfing I see error message after error message. Yesterday, a tech came out for 2 hours and it sounded like lots of fancy things were being done to try and get me set up but nothing was working. The last thing they did was “cut my port and moved me to a new circuit” which is suppose to be a last resort and a guaranteed fix. I was put on on the expediate list so hopefully when I get home tonight it will work. If not I will be calling my new tech friend Jesse bright and early in the morning to drag him back out and see what else can be done. I think I’m also going to look into how much a wireless card runs each month. Mike has one so he’s not affected but if it is the same as my DSL might as well just order one of those and be done with AT&T. Anyone else have any other things I could look into?
