Welcome to week 1 of Aloha Friday. This week’s question by Islandlife808.com is Where do you live and what’s the weather like there?
I am in Houston and we have a cold front coming in this weekend. I am not looking forward to highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s. It just doesn’t seem fair for it to get cold so sudden and so fast. I think it should stay in the 80s year round here as that is a nice blend of 90s and “cold” to me lol!
My question to you, do you prefer hot or cold temperatures?
If you would like to play along with us this Friday, leave a comment below answering the question, make your own blog post with a new question, and then head over to islandlife808.com and leave your link and start visiting some fellow blog participators.

I prefer hot, I’m from Texas and I miss it so much, now I live in Washington and it rains and it is so cold. I think anything below 85 is cold and it doesn’t get that hot here very often.

It depends upon the season. I like cold temps during the winter & warm/hot during the summer. It’s hard now though because we live in Az where it doesn’t really get that cold so I’m struggling!

I like the moderate temperature
The bone chilling cold is hard to handle and $$ to heat the house. The 80+ degree days of hot and humid summer are not the best either. I could live with day temperatures of close to 70 and night time lows of 40-50. Mind you I say this as our temperature next week will likely be in the 30′s for high – hello winter!

OMG Louise I am the same exact way. Anything less than 80 and I am freezing and have to wrap up in jackets and blankets.
I do have to say that I really enjoyed seeing the fall leaves up north a few weeks ago. Seeing colors is not something I get to see that often down here. Usually it is green then brown. No reds, oranges, or yellows.

HOT – in fact it could be a whole lot hotter right now and I wouldn’t complain!

Definitely hot! And I live in Canada…so that’s a bit of a problem! We try to vacation in places where it’s hot or at least warm!

I’ve never really experienced very cold temperature so I would say I prefer moderately cold. I like the breezy air during this time of the year.
