Not!!! lol I just landed in Pittsburgh and found the free wireless internet they have running in the airport here. I am trying to do a little bit of work as I wait for my parent’s flight to get in. It is a VERY HOT 36 degrees right now and snowing! Talk about a complete 180 from the weather I left today in Houston. It is suppose to get in the 80s this weekend down there. It doesn’t seem quite fair now does it.
I had a pretty uneventful couple of flights once I managed to get on them. I almost missed my first flight out of Houston because apparently the gate changed since yesterday afternoon when I checked in and there were no signs or announcements warning anyone of the change. The guy checking me in for the flight didn’t even warn me about the change. Anyways I was one of those people who got a “last call for boarding” message on the speaker and then was chewed out by the gate worker for not bothering to check into the gate change. Hmm maybe they should think about making a darn announcement. Anyways. That is strike 2 against US Airways in my history of flying with them. I think next time I will just pay the extra and fly with Southwest. Their check-in system can be stressful but I’ve never received a harsh word from them and they keep you over informed.
Well back to work for me. Wish me luck as I am really scared about visiting my grandma at the hospital. I hope everything turns out alright but I just don’t know.
