I was surfing blogs earlier on blogexplosion.com and came across a blog post asking if anyone knew what their blog was rated. By rated I mean, G – general audiences, PG – parental guidance, and so on similar to movie ratings. The blogger was surprised that their blog was rated NC-17. I thought well maybe this rating site is a joke so I decided to give it a try myself. I am happy to report that the rating site was not a joke. The site from what I can gather rates your blog based on the language you are using. So the more fowl or crude language you use, the higher/restricted your rating gets.
I am happy to report my blog is G rated! I try to keep things family friendly around here as well as keeping the content appropriate. I try not to lean too far into zones that might cause people to worry about the site they are visiting.
