A little experimenting and housecleaning going on around here
Author: The Blonde Diaries / Category: GeneralI received an email the other day from Kimberly, my friend from All About Kimberly, who was experimenting with themes on her blog. Well, after seeing her new design the wheels in my head started spinning and I started googling. It is very hard to find a fun theme featuring a blonde girl. I had the worst time. I finally found two that I liked but both of them have small quirks that I am trying to figure out how to edit. This current one is my favorite out of the two and the only things I really need to figure out is how to add back in my blog title to the header and how to expand the columns just a little. The missing dropdown arrow for the series box on the left and the cutting off of my gmail box bug me just a little. You can still use both to contact me or see my series by clicking on the boxes but I want them to be perfect. If anyone knows coding for blog themes and can help please drop me a comment or an email. I know html but not the new stuff that is out.
Also, what do you think about the new theme??

I have a theory on your series drop down box….your column needs to be a little wider…I think the arrow may be there and we just can’t see it….The problem with making that column wider is your header picture will then not be as wide…
I know, I know…not an answer, but knowing what is happening, may move you towards a solution??

Your entire images are 800 px….your sidebar is 200, your post area 600…
Maybe an easy fix would be to change this to like 575 and 275?…
Those settings are in your style.css page.

Ok…those numbers aren’t quite right…your sidebar is maybe 199 where is says siderail? Anyways…I think that would be the simplest way to find your answer.

The only problem I see with that is your background images…the woman up top and the green stuff behind your words might not be wide enough and that may cause bigger problems. Good luck.
