Just 2 more days till the New Kids on the Block Concert
Author: The Blonde Diaries / Category: EntertainmentI’m super excited. In just two days I am going to head to San Antonio with one of my closest friends to see New Kids on the Block in concert. The last time I saw them I was nine years old and it was right after the cd Step by Step came out. It was their 2nd tour that came to Baton Rouge and boy was I excited. My dad woke up early the day that tickets were to go on sale and brought me to “camp” out between 6am until 10am when Ticketmaster officially opened. We had fairly good seats for the show and I was a happy camper coming home singing my head off, wearing my buttons, and my tshirt.
Fast forward goodness 17 years and I am giddy and excited all over again. I don’t have any buttons but I have been singing to the Greatest Hits cd and my dad found my tshirt from many years ago. As cheesy as it sounds, I can still fit into it and I think I’m going to wear it. Why not? I wonder if he could see the future and knew they’d be reuniting and going on tour again. Maybe that is why my shirt was kept all these years. Either way, I am excited and looking forward to Friday night. San Antonio, here we come!

I was 10 around the time they were super popular and I finally went to their reunion tour for my first concert (my parents must have thought I was too young to go to a concert) and I felt the same way you did about it…HAVE FUN!
