Election 2008: Early Voting is about to begin
Author: The Blonde Diaries / Category: GeneralPersonally, I am so sick and tired of hearing about this election that I cannot wait until it is over. The entire process from early campaigning, primary elections, conventions, debates, and finally actually voting is just way too long and drawn out to keep my attention. I am looking forward to seeing the end.
The other day at my Connectivity Event the subject of early voting was brought up because we are entering the Q3 reporting period and election day is actually the week most of our clients will be issuing press releases and wishing to file. Long lines at the polls could cause issues for teams who are on tight deadlines. I am not sure what Q3 holds in store for me but I am going to be proactive and early vote. In Harris County, which is the county Houston resides in, early voting begins on October 20th and there are multiple locations throughout the county where you can early vote. I plan on voting early that week so that I can ensure that I am allowed to voice my opinion and also so that I can stop paying attention to the election.
If you are in Harris County here is a great weblink for you -> HarrisVotes.com. If you are not in Harris County and would like to early vote I recommend googling your county/township/parish and the words early vote 2008 to find the information you need to vote early.
Good luck!

I have always voted early and will again this year. I hate the crowds on election day (I did that ONCE)
I too will just be glad it’s over. I think we should have a maximum number of days before the campaigning can start and it should not be a very long period!!

Yes a campaign day limit would be great. At least we are under one month to go!! Maybe it will be better in 4 years – the candidates and the campaigning.
