The Blonde Diaries

During our recent trip to Disney World in Florida, Mike and I were able to walk through Pleasure Island one last time before it closed down as we know it. We happened to be there the very last week of operations for the clubs but did not notice anything special or out of the ordinary going on. What we did notice was lots of construction going on for new restaurants and shopping experiences to go with the current development of the area. T-Rex should be opening in the next few weeks to join Raglan Road as a fun dining experience. I am looking forward to seeing the transformation on our next trip. I hope they add a few more specialty shops to go along with the stores there – Virgin Mega Store and Harley Davidson. Mike and I enjoyed the Harley store and seeing a few bikes on display. You could only buy things like t-shirts and hats in this store – no bikes or Harley parts. Virgin was fun too but I just didn’t have enough time to scour the place for some great deals like I have in the past. Oh well. Maybe next time.
