The Blonde Diaries

I should have known better than to think that moving in together would be conflict free and everything would go along smoothly. I mean there are things that Mike hasn’t worn in years sitting in his apartment that he refuses to get rid of after suggesting a few times to dump and soon they will be in “our” apartment. We both began packing this weekend and deciding what we wanted to keep and what we want to dispose of or donate. Our new apartment will have the same “computer room” that my current apartment has so I was thinking we could not move Mike’s computer desk into the new apartment to save space. It is only being used as a TV stand right now. Well, that was something I wasn’t expecting a disagreement on. Mike wants to keep it and the nice chair that he has with it. I am ok with the chair because it is a nice piece of office furniture that will fit with the room and I do not have a nice computer chair right now. But the desk. Oy! This is going to turn into a fun process the closer we get to move in date. Wish me luck!
