Time to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of my 25th birthday
Author: The Blonde Diaries / Category: GeneralTomorrow is the 2nd anniversary of my 25th birthday. I am actually looking forward to having a nice and quiet evening at home with a cocktail and a Netflix movie (Sydney White) after I go to the gym of course. I am pretty happy about the mellow approach to my birthday. I am celebrating tonight with a few friends at a local Mexican restaurant – Los Cucos here in Houston and then tomorrow we are having a team lunch to celebrate at an Italian eatery by the Galleria. I think Mike and I are going to try and visit the Melting Pot sometime this weekend as I have never been but have wanted to go for a few years now. To wrap up the week long celebration that this has turned into, I am meeting up with my family on Sunday at a halfway point for lunch and visiting. It is also doubling as seeing my dad before he heads off to England for 6 months with work.
I am trying to decide if I want to start a new tradition though. You see my birthday falls on the same exact day as the opening of the Neiman Marcus store back in 1907. Last year, Neiman Marcus made such a huge deal about their 100th birthday that I went there after work and bought some of my favorite undies to celebrate our “birthdays”. So I am debating if I want to make this a fun tradition to do and possibly one to pass on down to any future daughters – a fun, silly indulgence. I guess it depends on how work goes and traffic. lol
I will let you know what I decide.
