ESPN is Fan-freaking-tastic!
A genius at ESPN has made my morning. I don’t have cable/satellite/etc and Mike has his CPA exam (Regulation section) tonight at 5pm. I wasn’t planning on seeing the LSU game unfortunately because the game was to start at 4pm and Mike would not be around to take me to Buffalo Wild Wings. So once the game was moved to 10am the nail was placed in the coffin and I resolved myself to refreshing the box score on ESPN for this opening game.
Well I surf on over to ESPN right before 10am to find the link to the live box scores and get ready to go and I see a small link for ESPN360.com. I didn’t know what it was or if it was free but thought I’d click the link and see what’s up. Well ESPN360.com is a free service (thanks to having AT&T DSL) and all I had to do was download a firefox plugin and I am watching the LSU game for free and it is LIVE!! How awesome is that. I made it just in time to see the first LSU touchdown. In another hour I think I’ll put it on full screen and pop open a beer and pretend I’m there. lol

Wow!! That’s neat. My connection is not fast enough unfortunately for me to watch live stuff….and Hughes Net limits our daily bandwith…
