Technology is ever changing and with that comes the ever changing ways we can communicate with our friends and family. I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do when I first started planning my wedding because all of my friends and family are out of state. I decided to dedicate a small portion of this blog to my wedding planning updates and thoughts as well as creating a website that will have all of the pertinent information that our guests will need when they come in for the wedding next year such as driving directions, hotels to stay at, and things to do.

If you are getting married and are in a similar situation, you can easily create your own wedding website for not too large of an expense. Most web hosting companies charge $6-$7 a month and you receive your domain and server space to upload the files you want on your website. To get started check out this web hosting rating site which will give you the skinny on the most popular web hosting companies out there before you commit to a particular host. Once you pick your web hosting company, this article might be of use to you as it goes over the tips you will want to consider when you are choosing your domain name (ie website address). The site is very helpful in getting you started with your own website and it really is a great way to communicate with your guests. As always if you need help drop a comment and I will be glad to help get you going!
