Thanks Dave. It’s so weird to do the right thing and then feel as if you did something wrong. I can honestly say that I am glad I did what I did and would do it again if I were to go back to that situation yesterday.

You certainly did the right thing. Too many people are complacent today, indifferent to the feelings of others. What you did proves that there are those who care.

Think of it this way, too. Security cameras might have had a watchful eye on that woman, following her all around the store. Your words to the clerk only made you honest in those eyes.
