Have you “gone green” yet?
Lately, every where I turn I see information on how I can “go green” to help stop global warming and save the environment. Well, to be honest I have been ignoring this for the most part. I am a firm believer in the idea that the Earth’s warming and cooling is cyclical. I recycle when it is convenient and cut down/back on my consumption of gas and other items I don’t really need. Alas, the go green trend has finally hit me. I needed “something” to put on my development plan for the upcoming year at work (the thing our bonus and raises are based on) so I have joined the new office “go green” team and will be helping develop quarterly emails full of tips on what we can all do to become more “green” as well as developing contests. Sounds like a lot of fun huh? I actually am kind of looking forward to this. I have been reading tips in my Shape and Self magazines lately on cutting down on my wastefulness and I think as long as I can find easy tips to share and implement people will be responsive and so will I.
