Fellow Texans, you have one more day till Tax Free weekend 2008 is over so make sure if you have something on your shopping list that you are wanting that you make it to the mall tomorrow. Mike and I went out tonight and hit up Forever 21 (well the XXI store) and picked up a few things for our Disney trip and work. We also did well at the Gap with me picking up some pants for work and Mike picking up some jeans. I will say that there weren’t too many sales going on in the mall so the savings won’t be too high but every little bit helps if you were already planning a trip to the mall. Also, the mall we went to (Memorial City in Houston) was a little more crowded than usual on a Saturday night so be prepared for light crowds. Remember the only things that are tax free are items under $100 that have to do with “school” – basically clothes, shoes, and school supplies

We shopped Friday and Sunday around the malls in Houston. Got some great deals. I usually don’t bother, but needed a good bit this year so we took advantage.
