A Blister Update

A few weeks ago I wrote about how I was getting major blisters all over my feet each time I tried to run. I wasn’t quite sure what was causing them but I knew they were painful and driving me crazy but I didn’t want to give up running. I went back to some older sneakers but noticed I was still getting blisters so I determined the shoes were not the cause. Next I decided to give new socks a try. I had read about moisture wicking socks and knew that I liked the moisture wicking shirts I have been wearing so maybe this was the key. Low and behold it is! I went to Academy and purchased 6 pairs of Adidas moisture wicking socks that are ankle high (gotta protect the heel area too) and can I tell you I have yet to develop a blister on my feet or had any major back of heel rubbing by my sneakers. So if you are experiencing blisters when you work out give moisture wicking socks a try. I am so glad I did because I can now run without worry.
