It is the weekend and that usually means you might be making your weekly trip to the grocery store. Mike and I go each Sunday. I found this helpful tip the other day in one of my magazines and can I tell you it is so true. When I make a list I don’t stray and pick up junk and run up a huge bill. When I forget my list, I fill up a cart full of junk and run up a huge bill at the grocery store. I hope this helps everyone else stay on target and keep the food budget in check.

Always make a grocery list even on short trips.

Why?
Because shoppers who don’t make a list are more likely to buy high-calorie impulse foods. You should also consider that the brainpower you use to try to remember your list takes away from your ability to resist temptation at the store. eek! So make those lists and stick to them. Your body and your health will thank you!
