I am super excited. I just noticed that my trip to Orlando is in less than 2 months! I am glad that I booked this vacation earlier this year because I have been able to spread the planning out and have come up with a few really fun things to do in Orlando while Mike and I are there in September. The last summer vacation we took was to Orlando and we had a blast at Disney. We were able to act like kids again the entire trip without any worries. It was so nice to be able to get away and have some fun in the theme parks and not worry about work or any of those other little things in life that tend to crop up and cause stress. I think the best part of our trip was going to the Halloween party and being able to dress up again like days of old and also see the characters in their Halloween costumes. Who would have thought Mickey and Minnie dressed up for Halloween?
For this trip I actually did some planning beyond Disney (horror I know!) in and around Orlando. I was able to use one of Trusted Tours and Attractions’ online travel guides for the city of Orlando to learn more about non-Disney attractions and have got some great side trips planned such as dinner at Medieval Times dinner show. The travel guide and the newsletter were completely free to sign up for and there are many other cities besides Orlando and other attractions to visit besides Medieval Times while on vacation such as Madame Tussauds. I find these guides to be useful and really allow me to explore cities without worries of being lost or being in a bad area of town.
If you are planning your next vacation or just brainstorming for ideas on where to go and need an idea of things to do in Atlanta perhaps, you should sign up for the Trusted Travels eNewsletter and enter to win a $150 iTunes gift card. You must hurry though because this offer ends July 31st, 2008.
