Shopping for insurance in North Carolina?

Health insurance is one of the most important purchases you can make each year. Unfortunately, with a tightening economy not all employers are offering the quality of coverage they use to at reasonable prices. The good thing though is that many states and private insurances are teaming up to offer discounts on insurance for state residents. North Carolina is one of those states teaming up with Blue Cross Blue Shield to offer discounted NC health insurance to residents. It is quite an interesting model and one I hope more states and companies team up and adopt.
